Built in 1977 and subsequently renovated, the Occidental Miguel Angel is a very modern hotel. The guestrooms are housed on 7 floors and were recently renovated to a very high standard. The décor in the rooms is traditional in style and the en-suite bathrooms are also extremely well decorated with marbled floors and walls. The hotel lobby is very grand and is decorated in fine marble. The blend of traditional furnishings, together with the large modern entrance hall and lobby is absolutely breathtaking. There are many decorative features such as a 16th century English wall clock and also some 18th century pieces.
The hotel has 2 restaurants where guests can enjoy a range of traditional and international cuisine. One of the restaurants also features a dance floor in the middle. This hotel is one of the most prestigious in Madrid and stands a cut above the rest because of its character and location.
