good location off grand via. courtyard rooms very quiet. Ignore comments about streetwalkers - they pose no threat to tourists. Overall = this hotel is a little oasis.

Ideally placed for exploring the delights of Madrid City Centre. 100 metres from Gran Via Metro station in a quiet side street.

The dining room is too small and can become very crowded with insufficient tables available at cetain times.

Very pleasant hotel,very clean and staff friendly and helpful. Good central location but limited on facilities.

Some building work next door but they didn't start until around 8am. - no problem.

Area outside entrance a bit sleazy...would not recommend walking alone at night..seemed to be red light area. However during daylight hours ok. However great base for shopping restaurants etc and right in centre... Staff very helpful and hotel very clean and bright and comfortable. Breakfast excellent..However building work going on at moment so very noisy!!!!

Although the hotel is on a pretty dodgy side street, with a sex shop and lots of graffiti, it is a stone's throw from Gran Via and the Metro station, which is really easy to use. Ask for a room at the side or back but you need to specify if you want a non smoking room. I would have given a higher cleanliness score because on the whole the room and hotel was clean, but I found a pair of dirty socks (not ours!) under the bed!
