The Quo Puerta Del Sol Hotel is housed in an emblematic early 20th century building, designed by Tomás Alía. The traditional façade belies the chic contemporary interior. Though not that spacious, the public areas are charming, trendy, and full of character, adorned with paintings from local artists. The black-clad staff fit right in with the minimalist look and retro-chic decor. Unusually for Madrid, all 61 guestrooms face the street. They feature stylish black and red colour schemes, complemented by crisp white bed linens, hardwood floors and simple but plush furnishings. All are clean and well equipped, as are the en suite bathrooms, with glass doors, glass benches and stainless steel basins. The hotel offers a Continental style buffet every morning in its welcoming Salón Quo. There’s also an impressive on-site restaurant and bar where guests are invited to sit back, relax and enjoy imaginative cuisine complemented by an impeccable wine list. This is a superb, well located property offering a high standard of service to all visitors.
