Situated in the centre of Madrid, the Arosa hotel is a good base to explore the city with most sights easily accessible on foot. All 134 guestrooms are individually decorated and have their own style. The Arosa Hotel also has its own restaurant specialising in Japanese food, and apparently is regarded as one of the best Japanese restaurants in Spain.
The Arosa Hotel is housed in a lovely old building with an ornate lime stone façade. The only part of the property at street level is the small lobby (serviced by a doorman), with the rest on the upper floors, accessible via two elevators. The reception area and lounge on the third floor, are elegant and comfortable, decorated with antique accents. The 134 bedrooms, each different in layout, are also individually decorated, some being more traditional than others. All, however, are soundproofed and feature tiled marble bathrooms. The restaurant serves Japanese cuisine, which is reflected in the far Eastern style decor, and prides itself as being one of the best in Spain.
