Originally built in 1966, the Mayorazgo Hotel is housed in a 7-storey corner building with a fairly plain, white façade. The medium sized lobby is appointed in a traditional Castilian style with a comfortable seating area. There is also a gift shop on the ground floor of the property. Individually decorated in a classical style, the 200 guestrooms overlook either the street or an inner courtyard. All are clean and well maintained, as are the en suite marble bathrooms, equipped with hair dryers, magnifying mirrors and toiletries. The restaurant is located in the basement and serves a good range of traditional Mediterranean cuisine. In addition the hotel offers a Continental buffet every morning in the Salón Escudo. There’s also a Piano Bar, which is the perfect place to enjoy a drink or cocktail in the evening.
