Completely refurbished in 2004, the Petit Palace Arenal Hotel is housed in a traditional terraced building with an attractive yellow and white façade, enhanced by wrought iron balconies and shuttered windows. The compact lobby creates a strong immediate impression, with a granite floor, colourful wall murals and red upholstered chairs. The 70 guestrooms are decorated in an equally modern style, their contrasting dark and light tones complemented by more soothing beige and cream linens and parquet floors. All are clean and decently maintained, as are the tiled en suite bathrooms with hydro massage showers. The hotel also offers a Continental style buffet every morning in its basement breakfast room, which features a vaulted ceiling and exposed stonework.
