The Husa Princesa Hotel is housed in an imposing 1970s-style building with a fairly plain façade, designed by Julián and Joaquín Otamendi. Equipped with two reception desks, the large lobby is appointed in an innovative style, its floor inlaid with marble hexagons that match the design on the ceiling. Also spacious, the 275 air-conditioned guestrooms feature mustard and beige décor, complemented by prints from the Prado Museum and light cherry wood furnishings. All are clean and well maintained, as are the functional en suite bathrooms, which have combination tub/showers. The hotel’s Malvasía Restaurant serves Spanish and Mediterranean dishes such as Catalonian Stew and Iberian Ham in a tranquil setting decorated in warm earth colours. Alternatively, the Global Café is situated beside the restaurant and serves Spanish tapas in a relaxed ambience. It also opens out onto an attractive terrace during the summer months.
