Housed in a building which dates from 1917, the De Las Letras hotel is located right on the Gran Via. Spacious, with high ceilings and wide windows (which let in plenty of natural light), the guestrooms are decorated in soothing colours like ochre, burgundy and orange, which are individual to each floor of the building. All of them also feature inscriptions on the walls of quotes by famous writers and poets.
At DL’s Restaurant you can taste signature cuisine, which includes new creations for each season, made from high quality fresh ingredients. DL’s Lounge, beside the Restaurant, is a big bar where you can share tapas, enjoy a cocktail or have a quick snack before going out for the night. Alternatively, you can enjoy browsing literary masterpieces in the library. There’s also an airy summer terrace with lovely views of Madrid.
