Our Review

An excellent traditional style hotel located at the bottom end of the Gran Via, close to the Prado Museum. The majority of the staff are helpfull and offer a high level of service. All 116 guestrooms are decorated in a classical style and some of the larger rooms offer magnificent views over the city. The hotel also has its owm gym on the top floor with floor to ceiling windows providing guests with breath taking views of Madrid. An excellent 4 star hotel for guests who don't want to be directly in the hub of it all.

The hotel is located in the historical heart of Madrid, on Canovas del Castillo square, one of the city’s most beautiful squares. It is also just 400 metres from the Reina Sofia Arts Centre and 2 kilometres from the Royal Palace.

     midway between Prado and Thyssen-Bornemisza (5 mins from each) ...             not many rrestauants in the immediate area...
