The Melia Princesa Hotel is housed in an imposing, narrow 21-storey block, which dates from the 1960s. The airy lobby features marble floors, Persian rugs and Chinese vases, as well as furniture with floral upholstery. These, along with the massive pillars and unusual light fittings, convey an impression of dated grandeur. The 266 guestrooms, decorated in a light-toned modern style, are clean and well equipped, as are the en suite bathrooms. The Don Pepe Restaurant, on the mezzanine level, serves an à la carte menu of regional and international cuisine, with a selected wine card. There is also a tea room, where a fine selection of teas and cakes are available during the afternoons in a cosy and relaxed setting. The hotel offers a Continental style buffet every morning in its welcoming breakfast room, on the third floor.
