A basic 4-star hotel located on a quiet street just off the Gran Via, El Coloso offers clean and comfortable accommodation. Generally the rooms tend to be of a good size although many guests comment on the small en suite facilities. This is a decent hotel offering guests on a budget affordable accommodation in a prime location.

The hotel is located in the heart of Madrid, only 100 metres from Gran Via and 800 metres from the Callao and Preciados shopping streets. In addition, historical attractions such as the Plaza Mayor, Royal Palace and Plaza de España are close by.
