Hotel is in good city centre position. At night there is a lot of noise from the street. The rooms are adequate and clean, though the breakfasts could be a little more interesting!

This hotel must still be under renovations. We were staying on the 5th floor and the rooms were old fashioned with the curtains matching the wallpaper. But da rooms on the 8th floor were bright and modern. The 2 lifts were tiny! Very clean hotel and great location.

It's located in a great place... Could use a bit of renovation tho... It seems a bit out dated...It's located right in the heart of Grand Via... If you want to shop it's ideal for shopping and it's right around the corner from very imporant Spanish artifacts.... Close to the Prado museum and calle Sol... Right around the corner from calle Serrano... And tons more... Absolutely wonderful view from the 6th floor...

I don't know how this hotel got a 4 star rating. It is 3 star at best. It's very rare for me to have to ask to change a room but on arrival I changed the first room because it smelt like a sewer and the second room because it smelt of cigarette smoke. There was not a single English language channel on the in room TV service. The breakfast was poor with the 'Orange juice' more like heavily diluted Orange squash. The coffee was terrible.

Excellent location. Many attractions and places to eat within easy walking distance. 2 Metro Stations within a few metres and on main bus routes. Hearty breakfast to start day. Reception / front desk staff could be more friendly, informative and friendly. would stay there again.
