Part of the Arganzuela district, Atocha contains many of the most important cultural tourist sights in Madrid, including the Museo del Prado and the Museo Reina Sofía. It’s also home to Atocha Station, the largest railway station in Madrid, as well as the primary station serving commuter trains (Cercanías), intercity and regional trains from the south, and the AVE high speed trains from Barcelona (Catalonia) and Seville (Andalusia).
